Home area code
Use this feature to program this deskset to recognize your home area code.
This feature makes it easy for you to place a call from the caller ID log.
When you receive a call from within your home area code, the caller ID
information only displays the seven digits of the telephone number. When you
dial from the call log, only seven digits are dialed.
1. When the deskset is idle, press

4. The screen displays
Home area code

keys to enter a three-digit area code.

DELETE
to delete a digit.

to move the cursor to the
left or right.

to save the setting and return to the previous menu. To exit
without making changes, press
CANCEL
.
Key tone
The deskset is set to beep with each key press. If you turn off the key tone,
there are no beeps when you press keys.
