phone, the call wll
be forwarded to
your cell phone's
voce mal.

Adjusting the listening volume
You can adjust the lstenng volume on a handset or the telephone base.
For both the
HOME
and
CELL
lnes, each tme a volume button s pressed,
the lstenng volume s adjusted by one level. When you are at the hghest
and lowest volume levels, you wll hear a tone.
To adjust the lstenng volume whle on a call:
Press the
VOL
^
or
VOL
v
NavKey on a handset or the telephone
base.

Silencing the ringers
When an ncomng call rngs on the
HOME
or
CELL
lne, you can temporarly
slence the rnger on a handset, telephone base, or the telephone system. Even
f you slence the rngers, you wll stll be able to answer the call on a handset or
on the telephone base. These features only slence the rngers for the current
ncomng call. The next ncomng calls wll rng accordng to the volume settng.
To slence the rngers durng an ncomng call:
Incoming HOME calls
Press the
SILENCE
softkey to slence the rnger on that handset or on the telephone base.
Press the
IGNORE
softkey to slence all the rngers on all the handsets, ncludng the
telephone base.
Incoming CELL calls
Press the
SILENCE
softkey to slence the rnger on that handset or on the telephone base.
Press the
REJECT
softkey to end the ncomng call. Ths wll end the ncomng
CELL
call.
You can also press
OFF/CANCEL
on the handset or
CANCEL
on the telephone base to slence the
rngers of an ncomng call.
