5. Compressor Menu
Compression parameters can be set by pressing the
Cursor
push-button to advance from
THRESH
to
ATTACK
,
RELEASE
and finally to
RATIO
. (Use the
Cursor
push-button to go backward from
RATIO
to
RELEASE
,
ATTACK
then to
THRESH
). Use the Data wheel to change the parameter’s settings.
THRESH
– Limit Threshold. Ranges from -20 to +20dBu in 0.5dB steps.
ATTACK
– Attack time. Ranges from 0.3 to 1ms in 0.1ms steps, then ranges from 1 to 100ms in 1 ms steps.
RELEASE
– Release time. Can be set at 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X or 32X the attack time.
RATIO
– Slope in which the signal is compressor. Ranges from 1/40 to 40/40.
6. Name
All channels can be named to help identify the channel or function. The Input Channel Name can be set by pressing
the
Cursor
push-button to advance to the next character. (Use the
Cursor
push-button to go backwards). Use
the Data wheel to change the character on the display.
NAME
– Channel name. A maximum of 6 characters in length.
