10 Indicating panel setup interface 1
Find the address of 485 bus indicating panel to be registered. Click on "Registration"
column to show "
√
". Double click "Type", "Building" and "Floor" columns and select type,
building and floor in the drop-down box. Enter description information at "location description"
column.
Then press OK button to save the setup and exit; press cancel button to retain the original
setup and exit.
The following shall be set up for 485 equipment:
Type
- 485 equipment is divided into the following types:
Building indicating panel - Chinese (building indicating panel in Chinese)
Floor indicating panel - Chinese (floor indicating panel in Chinese)
Building indicating panel - digital (digital building indicating panel)
Floor indicating panel - digital (digital floor indicating panel)
The indicating panels can be divided into building indicating panel and floor indicating panel
by working mode that is a certain indicating panel can display all alarm messages of the whole
building. It expands the function of floor indicating panel (JB-FSD-982 fire indicating panel).
Location description
- each indicating panel/expansion box can enter location
description information independently, as the location display at alarm. The location description
can contain 10 Chinese characters or 20 English characters.
Building and floor
- if the type of indicating panel is "building indicating panel", the
floor information can be deemed as location display information only when there is not fault
alarm of location description.
If the fire indicating panels are large in number or long in connection, it is suggested to use
the twisted-pair with large diameter and to use the shielded twisted pair for the applications with
more external disturbances.
