5.2 Unlocking and Locking the Slit Lamp Base

In normal operation the slit lamp base can be moved on the table to focus and posi-
tion the slit lamp. To protect the slit lamp against inadvertent movement when it is
not in use or when the table is moved, the slit lamp should always be secured using
the base locking screw.

To unlock the slit lamp base, turn the screw in anti-clockwise direction.
