Oil Pump Removal

Remove the nuts (6) and the crankshaft oil deflector (2).

Remove the oil pump bolt (1).

Remove the oil pump (3), the oil pump driveshaft (5) and the oil
pump driveshaft retainer (4).

Separate the oil pump (3), the oil pump driveshaft (5) and the oil
pump driveshaft retainer (4).

NOTICE!

Always install a NEW oil pump driveshaft retainer dur-
ing assembly.

Discard the oil pump driveshaft retainer.

Inspect the pins (oil pump locator) for damage, and replace if
required.
