5. Safety Instructions and Hazard Warnings
We do not assume liability for resultant damages to property, or personal
injury if the product has been abused in any way or damaged by improper
use or failure to observe these operating instructions. In addition, any
unauthorized modifications, or repairs of the device will render the warranty
null and void!
Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product are inadmissible due to safety
and approval reasons (CE).
Direct contact with water or moisture must absolutely be avoided!
Do not pour any liquids onto the device.
The device shall not be subjected to heavy mechanical stress.
The device must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibration
or moisture.
Do not leave rechargeable batteries lying around, as there is risk, which children or pets
could swallow it.
This device is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children!
If there is reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, the device is to be
put out of operation and secured against unintended operation. Safe operation is no longer
possible if:
the device has sustained visible damages,
the device no longer works,
and the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time,
the device was subject to considerable transport stress.
Avoid operation under adverse environmental conditions. Adverse environmental conditions
are:
too high air humidity (> 85 % rel., condensing)
dust and flammable gases, vapours or solvents, benzines
too high ambient temperatures (> +40°C)
strong vibrations
The device must not be used on human beings or animals.
The plug gauges are sharp and can cause injuries if handled carelessly.
In industrial facilities, the safety regulations laid down by the professional trade association
for electrical equipment and facilities must be observed.
In schools, training facilities, DIY and hobby workshops, the usage of electrical devices is to be
supervised by trained personnel.
Servicing, adjustment, or repair works must only be carried out by a specialist/specialist
workshop.
