The Volkswagen Eos combines the characteristic flair
of a cabriolet with the emotional design of a coupé.
It is thus aimed at two different groups of buyers and
builds on the tradition of cabriolet production at
Volkswagen.
This very successful tradition started in 1949 with the
first Beetle Cabriolet and continued in 1979 with the
Golf Cabriolet and in 2003 with the New Beetle
Cabriolet.
Unlike its predecessors, the Eos is not derived from
another model, it is an independent development that
unites the characteristics of different vehicle types and
heads in a totally new direction in terms of roof
technology.
Together with the values of quality, comfort, safety
and engines, the Eos has a rounded, promising
vehicle concept that sets new standards among its
rivals.
