The chassis number is also stamped on
the left-hand engine cover plate.
The plate shows such information as
manufacturer’s name, place of origin,
model, weights, and “Fahrgest.-Nr.”,
which is the chassis number of your car.
The sticker behind the driver’s seat shows
the color code.
