VKB Gunfighter Mk.II Quick 
Guide - HARDWARE

Accessing the Gunfighter gimbal (e.g., to replace cams or change springs):

    

1. Disconnect the grip.

    2. Unscrew the 5 screws on the dust cover ring. 
    3. Remove the ring and rubber dust cover.
    4. If needed, unscrew the 4 screws on the base plate and remove the base plate.
    5. Gently pull to disconnect the 4-pin connector from the base PCB.
    6. Unscrew the 

outer 4

 

screws*

 on the top plate.

    7. Pull the gimbal from the base.
    8. When done, assemble in reverse order.

* The inner 4 screws hold the gimbal and are fixed in place with Loctite and are 

not

 meant to be removed by the 

user! 

Stripping these screws is not covered under VKB’s manufacturers warranty (excessive force)!
