Protecting Images and Video Clips
The protection feature allows you to protect selected images or video clips from accidental
erasure.
Protecting one image or video clip
1. Rotate the mode dial to [
] playback mode and
power on the camera.
2. Press the
menu button.
The playback menu appears.
3. Select [
PROTECT
] using the / buttons, then press
the button.
The protect setting screen appears.
4. Set the image or movie you wish to protect using the
/ buttons, and press the
OK
button.
Repeat this procedure for every image or movie you
wish to protect.
5. To complete the protection process select [
EXECUTE
]
using the / buttons, then press the
OK
button.
After a brief processing cycle, your images will be
protected, and the screen returns to the playback
menu.
To exit the protection process, select [
CANCEL
],
and press the
OK
button.
All of the images in a folder can be selected by press the / buttons if multiple folders exist.
To display the image full on screen for confirmation, press the
TELE
button. To return the
original screen, press the
WIDE
button.
Removing protection from an image or video clip
1. Select [
PROTECT
] using the / buttons from the
playback menu, and press the button.
2. Select the desired image to unprotect using the /
buttons, and press the
OK
button.
To remove the protected status of an image or video,
press the
OK
button.
Repeat this procedure for every image or movie you
wish to unprotect.
3. To complete the un-protection process select the
[
EXECUTE
] using the / buttons, then press the
OK
button.
After a brief processing cycle, your images will be
unprotected, and the screen returns to the playback
menu.
