Switching the unit on

–

Insert  the  power  plug  into  the  mains  socket
and  set  the  power  switch  (7)  to  the  position
«I».  The  control  panel  (2)  illumination  will  be
flashing (the unit is heating up). Wait until the
unit heats up (the control panel (2) illumina-
tion lights constantly).

–

If you don’t press any buttons on the control
panel (2) during 15 minutes, the unit will be
switched to standby mode and the control
panel (2) illumination will go out. To switch the
unit on again, press any button on the control
panel (2).

Making espresso

–

To  automatically  make  one  cup  of  cof-
fee,  press  the  button  (20)  «ЭСПРЕССО»
once, and twice for two cups. Corresponding
coffee  portion  indicator  (

) will

be flashing, and the unit will start making
coffee.

–

If you want to stop the process of coffee
making, press the button (20) «ЭСПРЕССО»
again.

–

You  can  make  as  much  coffee  as  you  want.
To do this, press the button (20) «ЭСПРЕССО»
in  standby  mode  and  hold  it  down  for  3  sec-
onds. After that water will start passing through
the  filter  with  ground  coffee,  and  the  indica-
tors

and

will be flashing. Switch the

water supply off by pressing the button (20)
«ЭСПРЕССО» again.

Making cappuccino and latte

A) Automatic making

–

Set the switch (10) into the necessary posi-
tion: «КАПУЧИНО» or «ЛАТТЕ».

–

To make one cup of cappuccino or latte,
press the button (21) «КАПУЧИНО» or (22)
«ЛАТТЕ» once, to make two cups, press the
button (21)/(22) twice. The unit will start mak-
ing coffee, the corresponding mode indicator
will be flashing.

B) Manual adjustment of cappuccino

or latte making mode

By changing the operation time for milk frothing
mode, you can make coffee with the amount of
frothed milk to your liking.
The user settings will be saved and used when
you switch the unit on afterwards.
The available settings of milk frothing duration
are given in the following table:

5 sec. – 40 sec.

5 sec. – 70

Latte

5 sec. – 70

sec.

5 sec. – 90

sec.

Press the button (21) «КАПУЧИНО» or (22)
«ЛАТТЕ» for making coffee of your choice, once
for making one cup, twice for making two cups.

–

Water will be supplied to the filter holder (14)
for preliminary soaking of the ground coffee.
At this time press the button (21 or 22) again
and hold it down until you get the required
amount of frothed milk.

–

You can program the cappuccino or latte mak-
ing modes considering the information from
the table.

–

After you get the required amount of frothed
milk, release the button (21 or 22), and the
coffee making process will start, with the cof-
fee coming from the holder (14).

Return to the factory settings

To return to the factory settings, you have to clear
the unit memory.

–

Switch the unit off using the switch (7). 30 sec-
onds later press and hold down the button of the
mode you want to reset: (21) «КАПУЧИНО» or
(22) «ЛАТТЕ». Keep holding down the button (21
or 22) and switch the unit on with the switch (7).
The corresponding button indicator will flash
5 times.

If  you  want  to  clear  the  settings  for  both
«КАПУЧИНО»  and  «ЛАТТЕ»  modes  at  the
same time, switch the unit off using the switch
(7)  and  wait  for  30  seconds.  Press  and  hold
down the button (23) «ОЧИСТКА», switch the
unit  on  using  the  switch  (7),  the  button  (21)
«КАПУЧИНО»  and  (22)  «ЛАТТЕ»  indicators
will flash 5 times.

Making frothed milk

You can add frothed milk to the ready drink or use
it for other dishes.

–

Make sure that the cappuccinatore pipe (4) is
directed into the cup.

Press
