This unit is not intended for usage by children.
•
Children as well as disabled persons can use
this unit only under supervision of a person
who is responsible for their safety if they are
given all the necessary and understandable
instructions concerning the safe usage of the
unit and information about danger that can be
caused by its improper usage.
•
Do not use the coffee maker if the power cord
or plug is damaged, if the unit works improp-
erly or after it was damaged.
•
Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disas-
semble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction
is detected or after it was dropped, unplug
the unit and apply to any authorized service
center from the contact address list given in
the warranty certificate and on the website
www.vitek.ru.
•
Transport the unit in the original package only.
•
Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach
of children and disabled persons.

ATTENTION! IMPORTANT DIRECTIONS
•
Before opening the lid (13) and filling the tanks
(8, 12) with water, make sure that the switch (7)
is set to the position «0» and the power plug is
not inserted into the mains socket.
•
Use only clean water and always keep the
tanks (8 and 12) clean.
•
After you have switched the unit on using the
switch (7), let it heat up completely (in this
case the button illumination on the control
panel (2) doesn’t flash, but lights constantly).
It is recommended to repeat unit operation
when the control panel (2) illumination lights
constantly.
•
Do not remove the filter holder (14) and
the tanks (8, 12) or touch hot parts of the
coffee maker during operation of the unit.
•
Be careful and do not place unprotected
parts of the body next to the cappuccina-
tore pipe (4).
•
After operation, some water may drip from the
filter holder (14) openings, it is normal.
•
Control the filling of the trays (5, 6), periodi-
cally pour out the liquid from them, wash and
wipe them.
•
Be very careful when making cappuccino
and latte to avoid getting scalding by hot
milk splashes and steam.
•
Always check that there are no dried milk
remnants in the opening of the cappuccina-
tore pipe (4).
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage under
cold (winter) conditions, it is necessary to
keep it for at least 3 hours at room tempera-
ture before switching on.
Unpack the coffee maker, remove any stick-
ers and package materials that can prevent unit
operation.

Check the unit for damages, do not use it in
case of damages.
–
Make sure that your home mains voltage cor-
responds to the operating voltage of the cof-
fee maker.
–
Wash all the removable parts: drip trays (5, 6),
tanks (8 and 12), lids (11 and 13), filter holder
(14), coffee filters (17, 18) and measuring
spoon (19) with warm water and neutral deter-
gent and dry thoroughly.
–
Wipe the unit body with a soft, slightly damp
cloth and then wipe it dry.
Before using the coffee maker
–
Place the coffee maker on a flat and stable
surface.
–
Make sure that the power plug is not inserted
into the mains socket, and the power switch
(7) is set to the position «0».
–
Remove the water tank (12) from the unit
body, open the lid (13). Fill the water tank with
water up to the
«
MAX
»
mark. Cover the tank
with the lid and install it back to its place.
–
Remove the milk tank (8). Remove the lid (11)
and fill the tank with water. Cover the tank with
the lid (11) and install it back to its place.
–
Insert the filter (17 or 18) into the holder (14).
To do this, match the ledge on the filter with
the groove on the filter holder (pic. 1) and then
turn the filter until it is locked (pic. 2). Do not
add ground coffee into the filter.
