along with the Model 3230 Bluetooth ID. The Model 3230 may now be used to upload oxygen
saturation spot-check readings to the VistaPoint application. Refer to the following figure.

Taking a Spot-Check Reading with the Model 3230
Use the following procedure to take a spot-check oxygen saturation (%SpO
2
) reading with a Model 3230
that has previously been paired with the VistaPoint application.
Step 1: Launch VistaPoint
If it is not currently running, launch the VistaPoint application. Ensure the VitalPatch biosensor on the
patient is paired with VistaPoint and is currently displaying the patient’s vital signs.
Step 2: Select Take Reading
In the Pulse Oximeter section, tap the
Take Reading
button.
Note:
If Take Reading is not displayed, you will need to repeat the pairing process.
Step 3: Apply to Finger
The Pulse Oximeter section displays a message indicating that it is ready to take a reading. Apply the
Model 3230 to the patient’s fingertip using the clip. Check the that patient’s pulse and oxygen saturation
percentage are displayed on the Model 3230 screen.
