VDC1604 VISTA DOME CONTROLLER
INSTALLATION
When fixing the VDC1604 into a 19 rack, the two mounting brackets must be fixed to the unit. Remove the plastic plugs
from the fixing holes (two on each side of the unit) and fix the mounting brackets with the supplied M5 screws as shown
in figure 3 below.

Installing the keyboard
The VDC1604 functions are controlled by an external NPX/RKB/J3De desktop keyboard.

A single keyboard may be connected as shown in figure 4. Power is supplied to the keyboard by the keyboard connector
on the VDC1604. Note that the connection length

must not exceed 10m otherwise the keyboard will not receive
sufficient power. More than one keyboard may be connected (with a maximum of four keyboards) as shown in figure 5.
