SEQUENCES AND VIEWS MENU

This field allows you to determine whether the step consists of a Camera (
C
) or
a View (
V
). Use the joystick to select
V
or
C
from the picklist.
This field is the number of the camera or view to be recalled at the current step.
Use the number keys to enter a number.
Note that entering 00 will end the
view sequence at that step
.
Dwell
This field allows you to assign a dwell time in seconds for each camera or view
in the sequence. Use the number keys to enter a time in seconds between 3
and 99. Default dwell time is 3 seconds.
TIMED FUNCTIONS MENU
This menu allows you to set up Cameras, Views or View Sequences, on the
four monitor outputs, which are invoked at user-defined times of the day or
week. Up to eight of these timed functions can be defined.
Function
This field allows you to select one of the eight timed functions for editing. Use
the number keys to select which timed function you want to edit.
On
This field determines the day on which the selected timed function will initiate.
Note that the time frame itself may overlap into the next day. The pick list
comprises:
MON

(timed functions off).
at
This field allows you to enter the time for the function to commence. Use the
number keys to enter the desired value in Hours and Minutes. Times must be
entered in 24 hour format.
till
This field allows you to enter the end time for the function hours and minutes.
Use the number keys to enter the desired value in Hours and Minutes.
The sequences/views etc. running under timed function will remain in force
after the timed function is completed until manual intervention or another timed
function commences.
Monitor
Shows which view or sequence will be displayed by each of the four monitors
for the currently selected timed function This field cannot be edited.
View/Seq
This field consists of a pick list that allows you to select, for each monitor,
whether the timed function is a
VIEW
,
Seq
(Sequence)
CAM
(camera) or
NONE
.
Selecting
NONE
will not change the current image on the selected monitor
when the Timed function initiates. Note that changing the
View/Seq
field will
automatically set the corresponding
No.
field to 00. You must enter the required

after the

field has been changed.

This field allows you to specify the number of the View or Sequence. Use the
number keys to enter a number for the View or Sequence.
Restart in
When a timed function is running, there may be instances of menu events or
operator input via the keyboard. This field allows you to specify a time period
after which the timed function will resume. Use the number keys to enter the
desired time period in seconds (10 to 60 in 10 second increments). The default
setting for this field is 0 seconds. This effectively disables the resume function.
Note that manual selection of a sequence on a monitor will override the
Restart
in
function on that monitor only. Other monitors will use the function as normal.
Two or more timed functions should not be programmed to overlap. If this does
occur, the timed function running will continue to completion at which point the
second timed function will start.
