Vista SmartDisc Update V 4.30

Fault Correction

Passwords

There were problems with the detection of the 2nd password in the password
protection function in the previous version of Vista SmartDisc.

Hard drives under

Windows 98

If hard drives were accessed under Windows 98 Second Release, these hard
drives were reformatted by Vista SmartDisc after being accessed on the PC,
deleting all data on the disk.

Hardware reset

The factory settings are loaded correctly after a hardware reset.

New Functions

Differential Images

If images are recorded at intervals longer than 10 seconds, only complete
images are saved (previously 1 second intervals).

Hard Drives

Newer hard drives can also be used without problems arising when the device
is switched off.
Faster hard drives with larger write caches are now supported.

Basic Settings

The priority for the cameras is now set to 1 in the basic settings (all cameras
have the same priority).

Picture Number Dis-

play

In order to allow the operator to distinguish between pictures which are sa-
ved under the same time, a null modem number is displayed after the date
and the time, separated by a period.
