Change User Password 
 

This option allows you to change a user password that was entered previously.

 

 
Clear User Password 
 

Use this option to clear the user password so that it is not required to be entered 
when the system boots up.

 

 
Boot Sector Virus Protection 

This option allows you to enable or disable a virus detection program to protect the 
boot sector of your hard disk drive. The settings for this option 

Disabled 

and 

Enabled. If Enabled, AMIBIOS will display a warning when any program (or virus) 
issues a Disk Format command or attempts to write to the boot sector of the hard 
disk drive.

 

 

Exit Setup Menu 

 
Choose Exit Setup from the AMIBIOS Setup main menu. All Exit Setup options are 
described in this section. The Exit Setup screen is shown below.
