Adjustable feet
To reduce the transmission of noise and vibrations from the internal
fan to the building observe the following:
■ Use the feet provided (
M
).
■ Sound insulation from the floor of the installation room to the wall
and foundations (
L
).
■ Vibration insulation of the hydraulic connections through flexible
links (
B
).
■ Sound insulation of the extract/expelled air pipework for the Vitocal
160-A (in extract/expelled mode). Provide a silencer (see page 15)
for the extract and expelled air lines (
F
and
G
).
■ Provide vibration insulation for the air connections (in extract/expel-
led mode), for connection to extract/expelled air pipework, use flex-
ible pipe (
C
).
■ Provide vibration insulation for wall outlet (
D
and
K
).
■ Secure pipework for extract/expelled air (
E
and
H
) with vibration
insulation.
6.3 Electrical connection
The Vitocal 160-A is connected to the power supply with a safety socket. This way all electrical components incl. the electric immersion heater
are supplied with power.
