Checking electrical connections of the external unit for firm seat-
ing
Danger
Contact with 'live' components
can result in severe injuries.
Capacitors remain 'live' after the
power supply has been switched
OFF.
Wait at least 4 min, until the
capacitors have discharged,
before starting work on the exter-
nal unit.
Starting the heat pump
!
Please note
Operation of the heat pump with
insufficient refrigerant results in
damage to the appliance.
■ Before starting the heat pump,
the internal unit and the refrig-
erant lines must be filled with
the specified amount of refrig-
erant and the refrigerant circuit
must have been checked for
leaks (see chapter "Filling
refrigerant lines and internal
unit" and "Checking the refrig-
erant circuit for tightness").
■ The external unit fill valves (see
chapter "Filling refrigerant lines
and internal unit") must be
open when the heat pump
starts.
The following sequence must be fol-
lowed:
1.
Switch ON external unit voltage.
2.
Wait 2 min.
3.
Switch ON internal unit voltage.
4.
Start internal unit at the ON/OFF
switch.
Note
If the internal unit is switched on before
the external unit or the waiting time is
shorter than 2 min, the fault message
"0A Fault external unit" appears.
