Please note
Topping up the system with
refrigerant or evacuating the
refrigerant can result in appliance
damage.
Flush the secondary side of the
plate heat exchanger of the inter-
nal unit with water or drain it com-
pletely.
!
Please note
With
all
connections,
counterhold with a second open-
ended spanner.
Line lengths 3 to 12 m:
1.
Unscrew the end of the filling hose
from the external unit service valve.
2.
Fit the union nut with copper cap to
the service valve of the external unit:
torque 15 to 20 Nm.
3.
Unscrew the caps on the external unit
fill valves, open both fill valves and
refit the caps.
Note
When the heat pump starts, both fill
valves must be open.
Line lengths 12 m to 30 m:
1.
Connect hose between pressure
gauge set and refrigerant bottle.
Evacuate hose and pressure gauge
set.
2.
Top up the required amount of refrig-
erant (see following table).
!
Please note
Refrigerant must not be
allowed to enter the atmos-
phere.
Draw refrigerant out of the fill
hoses and pressure gauge
set.
3.
Close valves on the pressure gauge
set.
4.
Unscrew the end of the filling hose
from the external unit service valve.
5.
Fit the union nut with copper cap to
the service valve of the external unit:
torque 15 to 20 Nm.
6.
Unscrew the caps on the external unit
fill valves, open both fill valves and
refit the caps.
Note
When the heat pump starts, both fill
valves must be open.
7.
Enter the amount of refrigerant top-
ped up on the type plate and in the
operator's log.
Information for systems with a fill-
ing capacity of 3.0 kg R410A or
