Heat pump cascade integration
A heat pump cascade consists of a lead
appliance and lag heat pumps.
Each lag heat pump has a heat pump
control unit. Both lead appliance and lag
heat pumps can have 2 stages.
The lead appliance regulates the heat
pump operation within the cascade.
■ Up to 3 lag heat pumps when connect-
ing via KM BUS in conjunction with the
external H1 extension (see page 96
and separate service instructions for
Vitotronic 200 heat pump control unit).
■ Up to 4 lag heat pumps when connect-
ing via LON (see separate service
instructions for the Vitotronic 200 heat
pump control unit).
