2. Assembling and crimping the Type BNC−C2 connector
With this type of connector the contact pin
is already firmly bonded to the connector
housing.
Thread the core of the coaxial cable as far
as it will go through the connector
housing.
It will connect automatically.
Push the crimp sleeve over the insulation
as far as the connector housing.
Using the RG−62 notch on the crimping
tool, crimp the two parts together.
Slide the rubber cap up against the
connector housing.
3. Assembling and crimping the Type BNC−C3 connector
Place the contact pin over the core of the
coaxial cable and crimp the two together
using notch "S" of the crimping tool.
Insert the crimped contact pin into the
connector housing.
The contact should click into place in the
connector housing.
At the same time push the insulation of
the coaxial cable over the connector
opening.
Using the RG−59 notch on the crimping
tool, crimp the two parts together.
Slide the rubber cap up against the
connector housing.
