8.14.4 DIP3 configuration
When the switch rocker is up it represents
the value 1 (ON). When the dip-switch
rocker is down it represents the value 0
(OFF).

8.14.4.1 Address configuration
Switches from 1 to 8 are used to configure the unit
address (from 1 to 255).
Binary code is used to select the address (A Appendix
8.14.4.2 Setting of the serial communication
lines
The product is supplied with two RS-485 serial
communication lines.
Switches 10 and 9 are used to configure the serial
lines.

This DIP is set following the inverse
procedure compared to those previously
performed. When the switch rocker is up
it represents the value 0 (OFF). When the
dip-switch rocker is down it represents the
value 1 (ON).
The board has two switches used to configure the
serial lines terminations (120 Ohm).

Every unit that is situated at the end of a line must be
terminated using the appropriate switch in order to
prevent signal reflection and distortion.
Switches 1 and 2 terminate serial lines RS-485-1 and
RS-485-2 respectively.
