Field Description
Comm Delay
The communication delay time is the length of time
that the control system will wait before assuming that
a keypad is off-line. This provides the delay time
needed if a modem is connected to the keypad jack of
the control system.
Range 0 – 990. 0 = 0 msec; 1 = 10 msec; 2 = 20
msec;..99 = 990 msec (max.),
#### indicates option is not available. This applies to
keypad 1, which is on the front panel of the Pilot Lite.
Seize Control
Selecting Enabled will enable a keypad with a high
priority to seize control of cameras from keypads with
a lower priority. Refer to Seize Priority.
Seize Priority
The system uses priority levels to rank the ability of
each keypad to seize control of a camera from another
keypad. The Seize Control setting must be set to
Enabled to assign a priority. 0 is the highest priority
and 64 is the lowest. Therefore, a keypad assigned
with a priority level of 0 will be able to seize control
from any other keypad in the system.
This also applies to host port CPUs.
Auto/Manual
The Auto/Manual setting is related to the Seize
Control function and specifies whether the seize will
occur automatically or must be initiated by the special
command AUX4.
Online State
The system will detect the state (online or offline) of a
keypad based on the Online State setting. The Auto
Detect setting is used if the keypad state will be
determined by routine polling. The other options are
Always On or Always Off. #### indicates option is not
available.
