Test Setup Memory
System diagnostics include a test for memory functionality. The test will write unique bit patterns to a
representative sample of memory locations and then read this data to verify the read/write function of
Powerplus memory. The original information in these locations will be read, saved, and restored after the test
is completed. In order to ensure that the original data is restored properly, the test should not be interrupted.
However, some original data may be lost if the setup memory access test fails. Custom configurations should
be backed up as discussed in Nova Powerplus VPS1466 Host Computer Interface Software Manual X912, as
the system configuration must be reloaded if the test fails or is interrupted while in progress. Reload system
configuration as discussed in Nova Powerplus VPS1466 Host Computer Interface Software Manual X972.

Menu Test Setup
Perform the following procedure to perform a read/write test on the Powerplus memory.
If the system configuration has been backed up, press the Enter key to begin testing. Otherwise, press
the Escape key and back up the system configuration as discussed in
Nova VPS7466 Host
Computer Interface Software Manual X912.
