Alarm
Order (Common Stack Mode Only)
If common stack mode is chosen for the monitor stack mode, as discussed in
Monitor Stack Mode
on page
27, there is only one stack for all alarm monitors. The order in which alarms are added to the stack may be
FIFO (first in, first out), which adds alarm video to the stack in the order in which the alarms were activated,
or Sort By Priority, which adds alarm video to the stack in an order defined by priority. A priority level is
assigned to each alarm input in the system, as discussed in
Set A/arm Priority
on page 33.
Note: This setting is unavailable if independent
stack
mode is chosen, as the a/arm order must be defined for
each
monitor’s stack. Refer to
Alarm Order (Independent Stack Mode Only)
on page 37 if
independent stack mode was chosen.

Alarm Input Number
The programming performed on the menus accessed from this screen defines the acknowledgment mode,
priority, and alarm call-up for the alarm specified at the top of this screen. This screen must be re-entered in
order to change the alarm number before programming the
for the next alarm. After specifying the
alarm input number, use the number keys across the top of the programming keyboard to select a submenu.
This screen and the
accessed from this screen refer to the alarm input number regardless of
alarm source. For example, the alarm input may be from a receiver alarm, a host computer, or an alarm
interface device.
