Each Ethernet controller has a two-colored (green and orange) LED to provide an indication of
the Ethernet status, as follows:
LED D3 provides status for Ethernet Port 0
LED D8 provides status for Ethernet Port 1
Figure 25 shows the location of the D3 and D8 LEDs.

The signals for the Ethernet status LEDs are routed to the J9 user I/O connector, which, in turn,
can be routed to the CBR-4005B paddleboard. The Ethernet LED status signals on the
paddleboard can be connected to external LEDs through the paddleboard’s auxiliary I/O
connector. Refer to the section titled Auxiliary I/O Connector on page 51 for more information.
