Example 3: Configuring a Robot Distributed Among Multiple
Servers
The following example applies only to NetBackup Enterprise Server.
This is a more complex configuration than the previous examples because it involves a
robot that has its robotic control on one server and its drives used by two other servers.
After installing Media Manager software and attaching the devices to the servers, run the
Device Configuration wizard or complete the Add Robot and Add Drive dialog entries as
shown in the following tables. Some things to note when examining these tables follow:
