A dialog appears that contains Drive Information and Results sections. This dialog
allows you to execute and manage the drive diagnostics tests.

Select the media server that has the drives that you want to test in the Device Host
box.

For the drive that you want to test, do the following:
a.
Manually set the drive state to DOWN.
b.
Manually insert a pre-labeled test tape with a NetBackup recorded label into the
drive.
c.
In the Drive Name box, select the drive.
Information for the drive you selected is displayed in the Drive Information section.
5.
Click Start to start the diagnostic tests.
The results of each step in the test are shown in the Results display. Click Refresh to
update the Results display
