Setup Steps: Deadband Settings
Minimum Heat/Cool
Setpoint Difference
(setup step 12)
This feature allows the user to set the minimum
gap between Heat and Cool setpoints in AUTO
mode. Select from 0 to 6 degrees.
Deadband Settings
The Deadband is the number of degrees that
the thermostat waits before it initiates heating
or cooling.
1st Stage Deadband
(setup step 11)
Specifies the temperature difference between
the room temperature and the desired setpoint
before the first stage of heating or cooling is
allowed to turn on. (1 - 6 degrees) For example,
if the heat setpoint is 68˚ and the deadband is
set to 2 degrees, the room temperature will
need to reach
66˚
before the heat turns on.
