Person in charge of disposal
Directive WEEE 2002/96/CE enforces the obligation NOT to dispose WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment) as household waste and to select this waste for separate collection.
By law, the person in charge of disposal must, upon receiving an appliance showing this symbol
,
before disposing of it select the WEEE waste and make it available for collection.
