FINAL INSPECTION CHECKLIST
Always perform a final inspection after completing the in-
stallation. The final inspection is carried out by following the
checklist below. The list may also be downloaded at www.
vendlet.com.

Is VENDLET Basic mounted by a qualified technician?
Is the combined weight of the client, VENDLET Basic and any other equipment on/in the bed below or equal to
the max. safe working load of the bed?
Have the side rail dimensioning requirements been met (length and height)?
Can both side rails be raised and lowed easily?
Can both side rails be locked in highest position?
Can both side rails be loosened from highest position?
Are the nylon straps attached to the bed frame and all the support bars?
Are any of the nylon straps damaged?
Are any plastic parts damaged or showing signs of wear?
Do you see any exposed wires?
Do both bars slacken and tighten the sheet?
Does the timer activate when the button is pushed twice within 2 seconds?
Does the timer turn off after 90 seconds of idle time?
Is the control unit securely suspended?
Are all cables securely attached to the control unit?
Are all loose cables off the floor?
Is the slide sheet fitted on top of the mattress and properly attached?
Is the turning sheet fitted in such a way that it turns properly on the bars?
Is the quick guide visible and located near the bed?
Is the VENDLET Basic manual available?
Have the care givers been instructed on the use of VENDLET Basic and its functions?
Has VENDLET Basic system been signed up for an annual service check?

The desired result of the procedure is a situation where all
”Yes” checkboxes have been marked. If one or more “No”
checkboxes have been marked, the matter should be investi-
gated, and a solution found.
