5. Adjust the length of the side and place the corner post
as close to the footboard as possible. Fit the button head
bolt in the bottom of the bracket. Tighten the button
head bolt evenly. Tighten the bracket at the foot end.

6. Attach the outer mounting bracket in both ends and
tighten the button head bolts evenly.
Height adjustment
Always adjust the height of VENDLET Basic in accordance
with the instructions on page 24 and the height of the mat-
tress.
The height can be adjusted up to 7,7 cm. The height adjust-
ment has 7 possible positions.
1. Make sure, that the surface of the bed is flat and hori-
zontal.
2. If the mattress is an alternating airmattress, make sure
it’s fully inflated.
3. Place the bar in the highest position.
4. Press the small button on the corner post.

5. Simultaneously, lift the corner post until the surface of
the mattress is in level with the mark inside the corner
post.
6. Repeat the procedure at the other three corner posts.
Make sure all 4 corner posts are left in the same height.
7. When the system is raised to the highest position, it can
be lowered again.
