Malfunctions and maintenance
All Veldink products leave the factory tested and adjusted for immediate use. They will require
regular maintenance and adjustments when being used continually, especially when making
changes to the original settings. The initial adjustments made by qualified personnel should be
appropriate to your physique and personal preferences.
If you want to change a setting yourself, you can do so using the following tools: 3, 4, 5 and
6 mm Allen keys, 13 mm open-end spanner.
The following table indicates when routine maintenance should be performed.

Tyre pressure for drive wheels, optimal use
450 kPa/4.5 bar (65 psi)
Retighten the spokes (distributor or bicycle
dealer)
Check the wheel lock and readjust if required

Check the track of the mobility base for seat-
ing shells and that the mobility base for seat-
ing shells drives straight ahead without addi-
tional pushing or braking
Forearm supports (height-adjustable): check
that all connections are tight and that they
work correctly
Check the covers on the seat and back sup-
port for wear
and tear and any worn-through
spots
Have your authorised dealer or Veldink per-
form a full inspection, safety testing and
maintenance
