exists a changing quantity of pigments. The quantity of pigments in the skin, which expresses the skin tone,
varies from one person to another and changes the risk associated with the use of Veet

Treatment on dark skin using Veet

may increase the risk of side effects such as burns, blisters
and skin tone changes (hyper or hypo-pigmentation).

on a dark skin tone!
In order to reduce the possibility of using the device contrary to these guidelines,
Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM
includes a skin tone identification sensor that measures the patient's skin tone at the
beginning of each session and occasionally during the treatment itself. Skin tone sensor helps keep the
device so that it will only operate on the appropriately toned skin.
Do not use Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM
on tanned skin or after sun exposure!
Tanned skin, or skin that was exposed in the last four weeks to the sun, contain large quantities of the
pigment melanin. This is true of all skin types and tones including those that do not appear to tan quickly.
The presence of large quantities of melanin places the user's skin at a higher risk when using
Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM
. The use of Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM
on tanned skin or skin that was exposed in the last four
weeks to the sun may cause side effects such as burns, blisters, skin injuries and changes in skin tone (hyper
or hypo-pigmentation).
The sensor that detects skin tone doesn't know how to identify the pigment melanin, therefore do not use
on tanned skin or after exposure to the sun.

on tanned skin or after skin was exposed in the last four weeks
to the sun!
Use in these cases may cause burns, blisters, skin injuries or changes in skin tone. Refrain
from sun exposure four weeks before beginning treatment with Veet
®

The Veet

Infini’Silk
TM
device is not effective on white, grey, blonde or naturally red hair.
If your body hair is one of these - Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM
will not be effective for you.
Do not use Veet

around or on the eyes or near them.
