6. Precautions – how to use Veet

Select the energy intensity carefully!
The energy intensity is the intensity of the flashing light rays that radiate on the skin during use. The range
varies from weakest intensity to the strongest intensity. The indicators on the control panel show the
energy intensity to which is the device is set. The stronger the energy intensity is, such the results of hair
reduction are better although the risk of side effects also increases (for additional information, see the
section 8 – "Dangers associated with the use of Veet ® Infini’Silk TM (.

When you begin treatment with Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM
, always begin with the lowest energy intensity!
Only after using Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM
at the lowest energy intensity level, if you felt slight discomfort or you
didn't feel any discomfort at all, the next time you use Veet ® Infini’Silk TM you can increase the intensity by
one level- one additional indicator. If you felt some slight discomfort or no discomfort at all – you can
keep increasing the level of intensity between treatments.
For additional information on energy intensity, read the section of "energy intensity" in section 10.2 –
"first treatment using Veet ® Infini’Silk TM ".

Additional precautions!
Do not use the Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM
in the same area of skin more than once during the same treatment!

If burns or callouses appear on the skin, cease use immediately and seek medical advice!
■ ■
Do not expose treated skin areas to the sun for two weeks after each hair reduction session! (may cause
changes in skin pigmentation)
■ ■
Exposure to the sun is defined as direct exposure without protection for 15 minutes or more or
exposure to the sun on and off for a period of an hour or more.
■ ■
Be diligent in thoroughly applying sunscreen with at least SPF 30 for at least two weeks after each
treatment with Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM

Before using Veet ® Infini’Silk TM make sure to shave the treated area and ensure that the skin is clean and
dry.

Cover all birthmarks and tattoos with a non-light transmitting material such as a white cloth white
