10.3 What to expect from treatment with Veet ® Infini’Silk TM ?
For many people, the use of Veet ® Infini’Silk™ will be their first experience with a light based hair reduction
technology intended for home use. Veet
®
Infini’Silk™ is simple to use, and the hair reduction treatments
pass quickly. During hair reduction treatments with Veet
®
Infini’Silk™ it would be normal to expect the
following:

Light flash
– the bright light of Veet ® Infini’Silk TM does not harm the eyes when using the device on
areas that are not on the face, there is no need to use special eye protection eyes when using Veet
®
Infini’Silk

Blowing sound
- the cooling fan device generates noise similar to a hairdryer.
■ ■
A crackling sound accompanied by each flash - when the flash of light is produced, expect to hear a
light crackling sound at the same time as the appearance of the flash.
■ ■
Slight pressure in the contact area with treatment panel – in order to you position the device well on
the next section for treatment of skin and part of the safety mechanism of Veet ® Infini’Silk TM you will feel
slight pressure.
■ ■
Feeling of warmth and light tingling – with each flash of light, it is normal to feel a light feeling of warmth
and tingling as a result of the energy of the light. Remember that it is important to use the lowest energy
intensity in the first hair reduction treatments. It is possible that you will continue to feel this sensation up
to about an hour after ending treatment using Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM
.

Light redness or pinkness - during use with Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM
and at the completion of treatment, there
may well appear pink spots or redness on the skin. The most prominent will be in the area surrounding
the hairs themselves. If the skin remains red or burns or blisters appear, immediately stop the use Veet
®
Infini’Silk
TM
and seek medical advice.
10.4 After treating with Veet

At the end of the treatment using Veet

, switch the device off by pressing a long press middle
button. Remember which intensity level you used as it will not be saved for the next time you switch on
the Veet ® Infini’Silk TM .

Disconnect the electrical cord from the electrical socket

After each hair reduction treatment, it is recommended to clean the Veet
®
Infini’Silk

, especially the
treatment panel (for additional information see section 11.1 - "Cleaning Veet

When finished cleaning, store Veet
®
Infini’Silk

in its original packaging, together with this manual and
keep it away from a source of moisture or water.
