cause accelerated hair growth for some people (very low risk) based on updated clinical data, the risk
groups with the highest chance of accelerated hair growth are women of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern
and South Asian origin who are treating facial and neck hair.

low Sense of mild discomfort on the skin – although the feeling of hair reduction using flashing lights
is a feeling that is well tolerated, a significant portion of users still feel a sense of mild discomfort
during use, most describe as a sensation of mild stinging in the area of skin being treated. This
stinging sensation usually passes the moment the localized treatments ends or a few minutes
after. Any other feeling that is not that sensation is considered to be an abnormal effect which
means to immediately stop usage of Veet ® Infini’Silk TM whether it be that it is too painful for you
or whether it be that the level of intensity is too high for you.
very low Redness of the skin – the skin may suffer from redness immediately after use of Veet Infini’Silk™
Pro has ended and up to 24 hours after. The redness usually passes within 24 hours. If the
redness does not go away after two or three days, refer to your physician immediately.
low Hypersensitivity of the skin – the skin in the treatment area becomes more sensitive and it is
possible that it will suffer from dryness or peeling if required consult a physician.
rare Pigmentation changes - Veet
®

directs to the hair follicle and more specifically to
the pigments follicle cells and follicle itself. Together with this, there is a chance of hyper-
pigmentation (prominent pigment or a change to brown color) or of hypo-pigmentation
(whitening) of the skin surrounding the hairs. The chance of skin pigmentation changes is higher
for people with darker skin tones. Hyper-pigmentation or hypo-pigmentation are fairly rare
effects.
rare Significant redness and swelling – in rare cases, the skin may become very red and swollen. This
effect is more common in sensitive areas of the body. The redness and swelling should pass
within 2 – 7 days and should be treated with frequent ice compresses. In each case consult your
physician immediately with the appearance of these signs. It is also possible to gently clean the
area but refrain from exposure to the sun.
