Connecting to Outdoor Unit
1. Remove part of the protective plastic from the side and bottom plates to keep it from melting and sticking to the stainless
steel while brazing, see figure 6.
4. Move the rubber gasket out on the connecting pipes before
brazing the pipe connections, see figure 9.
Use nitrogen inside the copper pipes to avoid oxidation.
NOTE! Do not forget to leave an open outlet for the nitrogen
to avoid pressure building up when brazing. Make sure that the
brazed joints are properly sealed. Move the rubber gaskets
back when the pipes have cooled down.
2. The coil liquid connection is 3/8” copper pipes and is marked with a yellow arrow on figure 7. The gas connection is 5/8”
copper pipes and is marked with a red arrow.
3. NOTE! The coil comes pressurised with dry air. Carefully remove the rubber plugs on the coil connection pipe, see figure 8.

5. The outdoor unit meter for the liquid pipe is installed outside
the indoor unit cover as per figure 10.
Remove paint under the meter.
Use thermal grease and cable ties with stainless steel locks.
