The battery modules are to be in a charging status
smaller than 30%
. If necessary,
discharge the modules.
15.3
Disposal
The VARTA element backup system must not be disposed of via the house waste.

The packed battery modules are collected by VARTA or by a company mandated by it.
To this end, please contact VARTA ([email protected]). If necessary,
request the dangerous goods packaging from there as well. VARTA shall assume the
costs for packaging and collection.
The cabinet can be disposed of as electric scrap, e.g. at a collection station.
