Fit Appliance to Framing
1. Install stud brackets on each side of the appliance (2
screws per bracket).
2. Taking great care not to cut your hands on the sheet
metal edges, lift the appliance out of its packing
base and place it in the framing.
Make sure that the
unit is at the right height with consideration to the
height of the hearth or combustible
fl
ooring.
Install Appliance for 3 or 4-Sided Trims and
Fronts (new construction only)
3-sided trims 1035 and 4-sided trims 1040 are
fi
tted to
appliance once its installation and wall
fi
nish application
have been completed.
Side brackets provided loose with appliance are
required for those trims and fronts.
Hearth considerations
You need to know whether there will be a hearth or
not in front of the appliance and some rules must be
considered—see pages 11 to 13 for more information.
