Appendix B—Remote Control Operation
Low Battery Indication
Handset
The battery icon
will show when the battery
needs to be replaced. Replace with two 1.5 V AAA
alkaline batteries.
Receiver
Frequent beeps for 3 seconds when the motor turns
indicate the batteries in the battery holder need to be
replaced. Replace with four 1.5 V AA alkaline batteries.
Automatic Shut O
Countdown Timer
At the end of countdown time period, the
ȴ
re turns
o
. The Countdown Timer only works in Manual,
Thermostatic, and Eco Modes. Maximum countdown
time is 9 hours and 50 minutes.
CAUTION:
Do not use a screwdriver or other
metallic object to remove the batteries from the
battery holder or the handset. This could cause a
short circuit.
Low Battery Receiver
With low battery power in the battery holder, the
system shuts o
the
ȴ
re completely. (This will not
happen if the power is completely interrupted.)
Seven Day Shut Off
The system shuts o
the
ȴ
re completely if there is no
change in
ȵ
ame height for 7 days.
Automatic Turn Down
3 Hour No Communication Function
The valve will turn to pilot
ȵ
ame if there is no
communication between the handset and receiver
for a 3-hour period. The
ȴ
re will continue to function
normally when communication is restored.

918.0 MHz for USA and Canada.
