unreliable operation.
Initializing the System
1. Remove cover on the wall mounted battery
back-up holder. See «Figure 56» . Install
the four AA batteries into the holder then
reinstall the cover.

3. Install three AAA batteries into the battery
bay located on the base of the transmitter.

5. Set the wall remote slide switch to the
REMOTE position. See «Figure 58» .
6. Press and release the PRG button on the
wall control with a paper clip and the IFC
module will beep three times to indicate
the IFC module is ready to synchronize
with the transmitter within ten seconds.

7. With the batteries already installed in the
transmitter, push the ON/OFF button. The
receiver will beep four times to indicate
the transmitter’s command is accepted
and sets to the particular code of that
transmitter. The system is now initialized.
Temperature Display
With the system in the OFF position, press
the thermostat button and the mode button at
the same time. Look at the LCD screen on the
transmitter to verify that a °C or °F is visible to
the right of the room temperature display. See
«Figure 59» .
