Dealing with Messages Related to CDU(s)
This section lists some event messages related to CDU(s) or
communication between CDU(s) and other devices, that is, a LAN
problem. This section gives you instructions on finding out where the
problem is, and how to start solving the problem. When solving the
problems, you have to use other maintenance applications and the
appropriate field device manuals.

One of the following has occurred:
1) The status of one or both CDUs is Starting,
Manual Active, or Manual Standby, or both CDUs
have the same status.
2) Remote Object Server process is not running.
3) There is a network problem or a network
configuration problem.
OBJECT CONFLICT
DETECTED BY SERVER X
The system has detected an incorrect number of
ROA objects. One of the following has occurred:
1) One of the critical processes is not running.
2) There are too many ROA objects or processes
running in the system.
MISSING OR TOO MANY
PROCESSES DETECTED
BY SERVER X
The system has detected an incorrect number of
ROA processes. One of the following has
occurred:
1) One of the critical processes is not running.
2) There are too many applications running in the
system.
REMOTE OBJECT
MONITOR FAULT OR
ERROR REASON FOR
SWITCHOVER
DETECTED BY SERVER X
Remote Object Monitor Service is not running in
the CDU or the service has detected an error in
the CDU that has caused a switch-over.
