3.11 Setting the radar (hydraulic feed output)

To achieve maximum reliability, the radar unit must be set at a certain angle towards the ground.
The radar angle is optimal when the surface (A) is parallel with the ground and the drill is in the
working position. The angle can be adjusted by loosening the screws (B) and moving the bracket
in the elongated hole.
The bracket has markings that show the basic settings for different draw-bar heights.
1 Draw-bar height 300 - 400 mm
2 Draw-bar height 400 - 600 mm
3 Draw-bar height 600 - 800 mm / Intermediate packer

Prior to driving, the radar needs to be calibrated. See menu 12 "Auto calibration" in section

The radar optics must be cleaned regularly!
!
Ensure that the working area of the radar is free from obstructions, such as hoses and cables.
NOTE!
Never look straight into the optics of the radar when it is operating! There is a risk of per-
manent damage to the eyesight!
