2.2 Removal of transport locking devices

For the sake of transport, the front swivel rods between the seed boxes have been removed and
connected to special plates (A) or secured by elastic straps. Before use, it is necessary to install
the swivel rods onto the seed box arms (B).
The drill must be retracted to the transport position. Verify that the wing locks are connected.
Carefully undo the swivel rods from the transport plates on the wing sections. Connect the rods to
the seed box arms as shown in the figure. Discard of the transport plates.
Undo the elastic straps from the other swivel rod, both on the wing sections and the centre section.
Install these rods on the correct seed box arms. Discard of the elastic straps.
During installation of the centre section swivel rod, slightly raise the related wheel on the drill
while connecting the rod with the seed box arm. For this purpose, two people should help each
other with the installation.
When the draw-bar has been installed, remove the transport plates on the centre section. See ”

2.3 Moving the tool bar tines

Prior to delivery, two or more tines have been removed from the centre section tool bar to aid load-
ing and unloading. Check carefully that these tines have been replaced in the correct positions be-
fore attaching the drawbar. The tine fitting must be to the right of the mark when viewed from the
rear.
NOTE!
Always check the tine spacing of a new drill on delivery.
