Gets or sets the volume of the specified audio channel. The valid range depends on the channel.

Get or set the volume for the channel currently
designated as master/AEC reference.
line_in_1

Get or set the volume for the specified Line In.
line_out_1

Get or set the volume for the specified Line Out.
usb3_record_left

Get or set the volume for the USB3 Record
Left/Right output channel.
hdmi_in_<1..8>_left
hdmi_in_<1..8>_right
Get or set the volume for the left/right channel of
the specified HDMI input.
usb3_playback_left
usb3_playback_right
Get or set the volume for the USB3 Playback
Left/Right input channel.
ip_out_left
ip_out_right
Get or set the volume for the left/right channel of
the IP stream's audio.
program_out_left

Get or set the volume for the left/right program
output.

Options
get
Returns the current volume of the specified
channel.
up
Increases the volume of the specified channel by 1
dB.
down
Reduces the volume of the specified channel by 1
dB.
set <level>
Sets the volume of the specified channel in dB.
Valid ranges:
Line in, line out, master/AEC reference: -50.0 to
20.0 dB
USB, IP, and HDMI: -42.0 to 6.0 dB
