What to do when a lamp does not illuminate?
1. Gain access to the lamp which does not function (See Chapter Servicing and Maintenance)
2. Check whether the lamp is correctly mounted.
3. Install the lamp in a base in which a lamp illuminates. If the lamp does not illuminate, it
is defective and must be replaced. If it does illuminate, however, there is an electrical defect in
the unit.
Arrange for an inspection by PC Tan or a service provider named by PC Tan.
The canopy or bed becomes too warm
1. Check whether the air intake filters (filter mats) are clogged.
2. Ensure that the exhaust air can be discharged unobstructed. Airflow must not be obstructed
at either the exhaust hose or in the ventilation duct, as this will lead to overheating of the unit.
For information on effective ventilation, refer to the Acclimatization tips brochure
available from your dealer or from uwe.
