Changing the high pressure lamp
Attention! Transport the sunlamp in its packing to the place of
installation. Wear gloves when replacing the sunlamp.Never
touch the sunlamp with your fingers, as fingerprints will damage
the sunlamp. Remove possible soling with a clean cloth soaked
in rubbing alcohol.
Never install a damaged sunlamp. Before installing the
sunlamp check, if
it shows mechanical damage.
Before opening the device to replace a sunlamp, always
disconnect all poles of the device from the mains and wait until
the tube has cooled completely. Wear goggles to protect
yourself against exploding lamps.
Dismounting the acrylic sheet of the HP modules
1. Loosen the two screws and remove the acrylic sheet.
2. Loosen the screws of the filter glass tray. The filter glass tray
folds downward at its hinge.
3. Remove the HP lamp at its base and insert the correct, new HP
lamp.
Body area: Type BQ 600 EF 600W
Facial area: Type BQ 1176 Z4 1000W
4. In the event of heavy soiling, clean the reflector with a clean,
alcohol-moistened cloth.
5. Close the filter glass tray and secure it with the screws.
Mount the acrylic sheet and secure with the screws.
Replacing the shoulder tanner
Risk of fatal injury: Disconnect the unit from the power supply!
The shoulder tanner must only be replaced by an electrically skilled
person. Use only original uwe replacement parts.
1. Remove the appropriate paneling elements (6-8/1-4) from the
multifunction unit.
2. Remove the reflector of the POWER SPOT by lightly pressing
against the socket and turning counter clockwise. Photo 6-9 shows
the POWER SPOT without reflector.
3. Take hold of the HP lamp (6-9/4) at the base (6-9/3) and pull out
the lamp. The socket is made of ceramic and is easily damaged.
4. Pick up the new HP lamp by its base. Take note of the code on
the base.
5. Plug the new HP lamp into the socket (6-9/5).
